Central Crane Technicians were delighted to hand over another new FASSI F660RA.2.26 crane to Pickerings Hire this morning, as part of another multi-unit order.
The market-leading FASSI F660RA has been mounted behind the cab of a Volvo FM 8x2 - the first with the new FM cab design – which was supplied by Volvo Truck & Bus at Bardon.
As well as crane installation, CCT also manufactured the bespoke platform bodywork to meet Pickerings Hire high specification including multiple twist-lock positions, edge protection system and a VBG coupling to the rear.
The additional vehicle joins an already impressive fleet of FASSI crane vehicles supplied by CCT and will be running out of Pickerings new Birmingham depot - formed in 1969, Pickerings Hire has grown into a leading, privately owned specialist in the hire, sale and lease purchase of modular buildings, providing a wide range of portable accommodation for every need.
