D & G Noble Ltd., Wootton, have recently put to work the first of 2 new Fassi F315A.2.24 cranes. Mounted behind the cab of 8x2 Scania G450, supplied by local dealer Truck East, the crane will lift an impressive 2165kg at maximum hydraulic reach of 12.30m and has been installed without the need for supplementary rear stabilizers.
A 24’ long low height, heavy duty platform body was designed and manufactured by Central Truck Bodies to D & G Noble specification before a full chassis and bodywork spray to match the companies distinctive green livery. The vehicle was weighed on completion using CCT’s own public weighbridge with an impressive final payload of 15,430kg.
