Nixon Hire have become the latest company to take delivery of brand new FASSI crane vehicles supplied by Central Crane Technicians, as the final one of their 6 new vehicles was handed over.

All six installations saw FASSI F710RA.2.26 cranes installed behind the cabs of 8x2 rigid Volvo FM chassis cabs. The FASSI F710 has an unrivalled power to weight ratio and is particularly popular within the cabin moving industry – the 6 extension F710RA.2.26 has a maximum lifting capacity of 3280kg at a maximum hydraulic reach of 16.10m.
CCT also worked closely with Nixon Hire to design and install bespoke platform bodywork to suit their exact requirements. This included stainless steel hydraulic rear pull-out, fixed and telescopic twistlocks to suit customer specific container centres, VBG drawbar coupling to the rear and additional safety lighting.
